ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,314,217, issued on May 27, was assigned to Intel Corp. (Santa Clara, Calif.).

"Hybrid hardware accelerator and programmable array architecture" was invented by Zoran Zivkovic (Hertogenbosch, Netherlands), Kameran Azadet (San Ramon, Calif.), Kannan Rajamani (Basking Ridge, N.J.) and Thomas Smith (Colmar, Pa.).
