ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,255,158, issued on March 18, was assigned to Intel Corp. (Santa Clara, Calif.).

"Components for millimeter-wave communication" was invented by Neelam Prabhu Gaunkar (Chandler, Ariz.), Georgios Dogiamis (Chandler, Ariz.), Telesphor Kamgaing (Chandler, Ariz.), Diego Correas-Serrano (Tempe, Ariz.) and Henning Braunisch (Phoenix).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed herein are components for millimeter-wave communication, as well as related methods and systems."

The patent was filed on June 25, 2020, under Application No. 16/911,543.
