ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,248,556, issued on March 11, was assigned to Intel Corp. (Santa Clara, Calif.).

"Authenticator-integrated generative adversarial network (GAN) for secure deepfake generation" was invented by Ilke Demir (Hermosa Beach, Calif.), Carl S. Marshall (Portland, Ore.), Satyam Srivastava (Rancho Cordova, Calif.) and Steven Gans (San Jose, Calif.).
