US Patent Issued to Intel on June 10 for "ML model management in O-RAN" (American, Chinese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,328,602, issued on June 10, was assigned to Intel Corp. (Santa Clara, Calif.).

"ML model management in O-RAN" was invented by Dawei Ying (Hillsboro, Ore.), Jaemin Han (Portland, Ore.), Leifeng RUan (Beijing), Qian Li (Beaverton, Ore.) and Geng Wu (Portland, Ore.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Apparatuses for non real-time (Non-RT) radio access network intelligence controller (RIC) and Near-RT RIC services for machine learning (ML) model management in an open radio access network (O-RAN) are disclosed.
