ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,356,473, issued on July 8, was assigned to Intel Corp. (Santa Clara, Calif.).

"Method and apparatus used in WLAN networks" was invented by Laurent Cariou (Milizac, France) and Thomas Kenney (Portland, Ore.).
