ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,379,738, issued on Aug. 5, was assigned to Intel Corp. (Santa Clara, Calif.).
"Low power hybrid reverse bandgap reference and digital temperature sensor" was invented by You Li (Hillsboro, Ore.), David Duarte (Portland, Ore.) and Yongping Fan (Portland, Ore.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A low power hybrid reverse (LPHR) bandgap reference (BGR) and digital temperature sensor (DTS) or a digital thermometer, which utilizes subthreshold metal oxide semiconductor (MOS) transistors."
The patent was filed on July 3, 2024, under Application No. 18/763,940.
