US Patent Issued to Insight Pharmaceuticals on June 17 for "Repellant formulation and method" (Virginia, New Jersey, New York Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,329,164, issued on June 17, was assigned to Insight Pharmaceuticals Corp. (Tarrytown, N.Y.).

"Repellant formulation and method" was invented by Vadim Mitlitski (Demarest, N.J.), Richard Robert Tenore (Narrowsburg, N.Y.) and Erica Rattigan Tyree (Amherst, Va.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A formulation for repelling insects and arthropods comprises about 0.5% by weight to about 4.0% by weight of an active ingredient and an emulsifier.
