ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,259,108, issued on March 25, was assigned to Innotec Corp. (Zeeland, Mich.).

"Light projector with overmolding to improve accuracy between light source, aperture, and lens" was invented by Thomas J. Veenstra (Lakewood, Colo.), Michael L. Lanser (Holland, Mich.) and Balazs I. Vaci (Szazhalombatta, Hungary).

A sheath can be overmolded over the base and can form a locator sleeve. An aperture can be overmolded over the light source.
