ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,474,682, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to Infineon Technologies AG (Neubiberg, Germany).

"Switching frequency variation for a motor" was invented by Stefan Golisch (Erfurt, Germany) and Sandro Purfurst (Illmenau, Germany).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A controller circuit is configured to generate, using a random number generator, a set of bits and determine a switching frequency using the set of bits. The controller circuit is further configured to control a switching circuit to switch at the switching frequency to drive a motor."
