ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,284,919, issued on April 22, was assigned to Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, Chosun University (Gwangju, South Korea).
"Mg 2 Sn thermoelectric materials for colossal Seebeck coefficients and fabrication method therefor" was invented by Sa Ra Kim (Gwangju, South Korea) and Nam Hoon Kim (Gwangju, South Korea).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed according to various embodiments is a thermoelectric material for colossal Seebeck coefficients comprising an Mg-poor Mg2Sn crystal and Secondary Sn phase."
