ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,365,883, issued on July 22, was assigned to Industrial Microbes Inc. (Alameda, Calif.).
"Methane monooxygenase enzymes" was invented by Elizabeth Jane Clarke (San Francisco), Derek Lorin Greenfield (Kinsignton, Calif.), Noah Charles Helman (El Cerrito, Calif.), Stephanie Rhianon Jones (Berkeley, Calif.) and Baolong Zhu (Johnston, Iowa).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Improved soluble methane monooxygenases and soluble methane monooxygenase systems are provided."
The patent was filed on Dec. 21, 2023, under Application No. 18/393,317.
