US Patent Issued to INDENA on Oct. 7 for "Powder solid compositions, process for their preparation, formulations and use thereof" (Italian Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,433,930, issued on Oct. 7, was assigned to INDENA S.P.A. (Milan).

"Powder solid compositions, process for their preparation, formulations and use thereof" was invented by Massimo Ronchi (Milan) and Giacomo Mombelli (Milan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed are powder solid compositions including a hydroalcoholic extract of Bergamot fruit (Citrus aurantium var. bergamia) and at least one phospholipid. Also disclosed is a process for the preparation of the compositions. The compositions are useful for the prevention and/or treatment of dysmetabolic syndromes, dyslipidemias and type 2 diabetes."
