ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,360,120, issued on July 15, was assigned to Incyte Corp. (Wilmington, Del.).

"Biomarkers for graft-versus-host disease" was invented by Michael D. Howell (Kennett Square, Pa.), Sherry Owens (Wilmington, Del.) and Michael A. Pratta (Mullica Hill, N.J.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Biomarkers are provided that are predictive of a subject's responsiveness to a JAK inhibitor.
