ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,247,030, issued on March 11, was assigned to Incyte Holdings Corp. (Wilmington, Del.) and Incyte Corp. (Wilmington, Del.).

"Process for preparing compositions comprising an enantiomeric excess of a substituted pyrrolo[2,3-dpyrimidine" was invented by Jiacheng Zhou (Newark, Del.), David Meloni (Bear, Del.), Yongchun Pan (Newark, Del.) and Mei Li (Newark, Del.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention is related to processes for preparing a composition comprising an enantiomeric excess of a substituted pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidine utilizing chiral acids."

The patent was filed on Feb. 16, 2021, under Application No. 17/176,914.
