ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,335,725, issued on June 17, was assigned to Imprivata Inc. (Lexington, Mass.).

"Quorum-based secure authentication" was invented by Edward J. Gaudet (Hanover, Mass.) and David M. T. Ting (Sudbury, Mass.).
