ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,299,521, issued on May 13, was assigned to Impinj Inc. (Seattle).
"RFID integrated circuit identifier self-check" was invented by Christopher J. Diorio (Shoreline, Wash.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tag IC stores an identifier and a check code. The IC determines whether the stored identifier is corrupted by comparing it to the check code.
