ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,304,909, issued on May 20, was assigned to IMPERIAL COLLEGE INNOVATIONS Ltd. (London).

"Compounds and their use in therapy" was invented by Edward William Tate (London) and Andrew Simon Bell (London).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention provides inter aliaa compound as defined herein and its use in the prevention or treatment of a disease or disorder in which inhibition of N-myristoyl transferase provides a therapeutic or prophylactic effect, e.g. cancer."
