ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,453,564, issued on Oct. 28, was assigned to Imperative Care Inc. (Campbell, Calif.).

"Hemostasis valve" was invented by Michael Buck (Menlo Park, Calif.), Julia Fox (San Carlos, Calif.) and James Jacobs (Danville, Calif.).
