ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 19 -- United States Patent no. D1,062,738, issued on Feb. 18, was assigned to Imaging Business Machines LLC (Birmingham, Ala.).
"Document scanner" was invented by Benjamin Zombek (Pittsford, N.Y.), Adam Baker (Rochester, N.Y.), Laura Whitby (Rochester, N.Y.) and Benjamin J. Bush (Birmingham, Ala.).
