ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,297,083, issued on May 13, was assigned to Illinois Tool Works Inc. (Glenview, Ill.).

"Articulated clutch having limited coupler rotational movement" was invented by Ian Ross Ferrier (Wantirna South, Australia).
