ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,343,825, issued on July 1, was assigned to Illinois Tool Works Inc..

"System for TIG shielding gas preflow, postflow, and arc starting" was invented by Zachary Joseph Erndt (Waupaca, Wis.) and Al J. DeCoster (Kaukauna, Wis.).
