US Patent Issued to II-VI DELAWARE on March 4 for "Electrode-defined unsuspended acoustic resonator" (Pennsylvania, New Jersey Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,244,290, issued on March 4, was assigned to II-VI DELAWARE INC. (Wilmington, Del.).

"Electrode-defined unsuspended acoustic resonator" was invented by Wen-Qing Xu (Sarver, Pa.), Di Lan (Edison, N.J.) and Christopher S. Koeppen (New Hope, Pa.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A bulk acoustic resonator operable in a bulk acoustic mode includes a resonator body mounted to a separate carrier that is not part of the resonator body.
