ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,220,763, issued on Feb. 11, was assigned to II-VI DELAWARE INC. (Wilmington, Del.).

"Additive manufacturing in metals with a fiber array laser source and adaptive multi-beam shaping" was invented by Mikhail A. Vorontsov (Dayton, Ohio) and Abtin Ataei (Oakwood, Ohio).
