ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,337,264, issued on June 24, was assigned to IHI Corp. (Koto-ku, Japan).
"Defoaming apparatus" was invented by Toru Iyobe (Tokyo) and Shigenobu Watanabe (Tokyo).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A defoaming apparatus is described that includes a base unit, a motor supported by the base unit, and a brush connected to the motor and extending below the base unit with a tip directing downward."
