ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,462,649, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to IGT (Las Vegas).
"Modifying paylines for symbol evaluations" was invented by William C. Redick (Reno, Nev.) and Nicholas Gaston (Reno, Nev.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Systems and methods employ one or more triggering events that occur to cause a modification of a quantity of active paylines utilized to evaluate one or more symbols."
The patent was filed on July 19, 2022, under Application No. 17/868,243.
