ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,300,069, issued on May 13, was assigned to IGT (Las Vegas).
"Activating features based on a value of a progressive award" was invented by Ginese Weyant (Reno, Nev.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Gaming systems and methods for determining which features, if any, to activate in association with one or more plays of a game based on a current value of a progressive award."
The patent was filed on Oct. 11, 2023, under Application No. 18/378,761.
