US Patent Issued to IGT on June 17 for "System and method for managing player data across different entities" (Nevada Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,333,896, issued on June 17, was assigned to IGT (Las Vegas).

"System and method for managing player data across different entities" was invented by Jeffery Shepherd (Reno, Nev.) and Kevin Higgins (Reno, Nev.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "In various embodiments, the system and method disclosed herein coordinates the access to persistent data amongst a plurality of disparate entities which otherwise have no player data sharing relationship with one another."

The patent was filed on Feb. 26, 2024, under Application No. 18/587,595.
