US Patent Issued to IGT on July 15 for "Tracking line of credit fund transfers between an electronic gaming machine and a gaming establishment account" (Nevada Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,361,482, issued on July 15, was assigned to IGT (Las Vegas).

"Tracking line of credit fund transfers between an electronic gaming machine and a gaming establishment account" was invented by Jeffery Shepherd (Reno, Nev.) and Kevin Higgins (Reno, Nev.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A system that facilitates a transfer of an amount of funds associated with a line of credit to a gaming establishment account and then to a gaming device, such as an EGM, wherein the amount of funds associated with the line of credit is separately tracked by the system."
