ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,223,798, issued on Feb. 11, was assigned to IGT (Las Vegas).
"System and method for managing player data across different gaming entities" was invented by Bryan Upton (Hertfordshire, Great Britain).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "In various embodiments, the system and method disclosed herein coordinates the access to persistent data amongst a plurality of disparate entities which otherwise have no player data sharing relationship with one another."
