ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,380,763, issued on Aug. 5, was assigned to IGT (Las Vegas).
"Player wheel section set selection" was invented by Chris Peterson (Reno, Nev.), Shawn Hupp (Reno, Nev.), Arthur Levesque (Reno, Nev.) and Nathan Ajhar (Sparks, Nev.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Gaming systems and method that provide a player wheel set selection feature including a displayed wheel having a plurality of displayed player selectable sections for a play of a game, and wherein the quantity of sections selectable by the player is at least one and less than all of the sections of the wheel."
The patent was filed on April 2, 2024, under Application No. 18/624,364.
