ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,338,402, issued on June 24, was assigned to IFP Energies Nouvelles (Rueil-Malmaison, France).

"Process for the preparation of olefins, comprising de-asphalting, hydrocracking and steam cracking" was invented by Wilfried Weiss (Rueil-Malmaison, France) and Isabelle Merdrignac (Rueil-Malmaison, France).
