ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,331,301, issued on June 17, was assigned to IFP Energies Nouvelles (Rueil Malmaison, France).
"Mutant strains of Trichoderma reesei" was invented by Frederique Bidard-Michelot (L'Etang la Ville, France) and Antoine Margeot (Paris).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention relates to a method for producing a protein in a filamentous fungus cell, comprising the overexpression of the TrAZF1 gene or of one of the variants thereof in said cell."
The patent was filed on Dec. 21, 2016, under Application No. 16/063,954.
