ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,227,471, issued on Feb. 18, was assigned to IDEMITSU KOSAN Co. LTD. (Chiyoda-ku, Japan).

"Polyalkylene glycol-based compound" was invented by So Nakajima (Edogawa-ku, Japan) and Yukio Yoshida (Ichihara, Japan).
