ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,494,503, issued on Dec. 9, was assigned to IDEMITSU KOSAN Co. LTD. (Tokyo).
"Method for producing solid electrolyte" was invented by Shota Totsuka (Sodegaura, Japan), Atsushi Sato (Sodegaura, Japan) and Hironari Kimpara (Sodegaura, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method for producing a solid electrolyte, which comprises: a step of mixing an anionic surfactant which is a monomer or an oligomer, a solvent, and a sulfide solid electrolyte to obtain a mixture; and a step of removing the solvent from the mixture."
The patent was filed on Aug. 6, 2020, under Application No. 17/632,518.
