US Patent Issued to IDEMIA PUBLIC SECURITY FRANCE on Feb. 10 for "Digital document seal" (New Jersey, Massachusetts, Tennessee Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,547,748, issued on Feb. 10, was assigned to IDEMIA PUBLIC SECURITY FRANCE (Courbevoie, France).

"Digital document seal" was invented by Teresa Wu (Pegram, Tenn.), Rein-Lien Hsu (Edison, N.J.) and Brian Martin (Bedford, Mass.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Systems and methods for sealing a document using a visible graphical digital seal are described, as well as systems and methods for authenticating a sealed document by identifying and decoding the digital seal."
