US Patent Issued to Idaho Asphalt Supply on March 25 for "Paving machine having a containment basin" (Nevada, Arizona, Idaho Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,258,718, issued on March 25, was assigned to Idaho Asphalt Supply Inc. (Idaho Falls, Idaho).

"Paving machine having a containment basin" was invented by Douglas Ray Olsen (Reno, Nev.), Huachun Zhai (Boise, Idaho) and Devin Glenn Crighton (Queen Creek, Ariz.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A paving machine which includes a containment basin. The containment basin has at least one brush therein to spread paving material onto a roadway surface."

The patent was filed on April 22, 2024, under Application No. 18/642,169.
