ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,298,312, issued on May 13, was assigned to ID-Fish Technology Inc. (Milpitas, Calif.).
"Detection of Lyme disease" was invented by Jyotsna S. Shah (Santa Clara, Calif.), Song Liu (San Jose, Calif.) and Sudhir Shah (Santa Clara, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The disclosure, in some aspects, provides antigen-specific amino acid sequences for Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato species."
The patent was filed on April 13, 2021, under Application No. 17/229,773.
