ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,480,574, issued on Nov. 25, was assigned to Hyundai Transys Inc. (Seosan-si, South Korea).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A transmission is capable of optimizing mountability of the transmission in a vehicle by improving an arrangement position of an electric oil pump on the transmission. The transmission according to one embodiment includes a housing, a support part coupled to the housing, and a pump coupled to the support part and disposed to be spaced apart from a frame of the vehicle."
