ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,257,912, issued on March 25, was assigned to HYUNDAI MOTOR COMPANY (Seoul, South Korea) and KIA Corp. (Seoul, South Korea).
"Electric mobility vehicle" was invented by Jun Young Lim (Incheon, South Korea) and Seon Il Yoon (Yeoju-si, South Korea).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Proposed is an electric mobility vehicle in which material cost is reduced by simplifying the structure for cooling a battery module and a sealing structure. The electric mobility vehicle is capable of increasing sealing performance since an inflow path of moisture from outside is reduced, and securing desired battery cooling performance."
