US Patent Issued to Hyundai Motor, Kia on June 10 for "Method of controlling braking in response to sensor failure in autonomous vehicles" (South Korean Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,325,451, issued on June 10, was assigned to Hyundai Motor Co. (Seoul, South Korea) and Kia Corp. (Seoul, South Korea).

"Method of controlling braking in response to sensor failure in autonomous vehicles" was invented by In Su Kim (Anyang-Si, South Korea) and Myung Ki Yeom (Incheon, South Korea).
