ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,344,058, issued on July 1, was assigned to Hyundai Motor Co. (Seoul, South Korea) and Kia Corp. (Seoul, South Korea).

"Stabilizer bar unit" was invented by JaeHun Kim (Hwaseong-si, South Korea) and Eun Sik Kim (Hwaseong-si, South Korea).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A stabilizer bar device includes a main rigid member connected to suspension arms via links respectively coupled to both end portions, the main rigid member having a slot hole disposed along a longitudinal direction in a preset slot section, and a sub-rigid member having a first end coupled to the main rigid member and a second end inserted into the slot hole."
