ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,292,666, issued on May 6, was assigned to Hyundai Motor Co. (Seoul, South Korea), Kia Corp. (Seoul, South Korea) and Pusan National University Industry-University Cooperation Foundation (Busan, South Korea).

"Color-changeable plastic" was invented by Dong Eun Cha (Hwaseong-si, South Korea), Hyun Kyung Kim (Hwaseong-si, South Korea), Jong Seung Park (Busan, South Korea) and Jun Hong Choi (Busan, South Korea).
