ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,339,556, issued on June 24, was assigned to Hyundai Motor Co. (Seoul, South Korea), Kia Corp. (Seoul, South Korea) and Pusan National University Industry-University Cooperation Foundation (Busan, South Korea).
