ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,404,975, issued on Sept. 2, was assigned to Hyundai Motor Co. (Seoul, South Korea), Kia Corp. (Seoul, South Korea) and Dae Hung Precision Ind'l Co. Ltd. (Seosan-si, South Korea).
