ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,438,571, issued on Oct. 7, was assigned to HYUNDAI MOBIS Co. LTD. (Seoul, South Korea).
"UWB system" was invented by Jong Chul Lim (Anyang-si, South Korea).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided an ultra-wideband (UWB) system comprising: a memory in which a UWB ranging factor definition program is embedded; and a processor which executes the program, wherein the processor predefines UWB ranging factors to define a nonce in consideration of a unique key characteristic of an individual device."
