ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,252,963, issued on March 18, was assigned to Hunting Titan Inc. (Pampa, Texas).
"Modular gun system" was invented by Adam Dyess (Houston), Christopher Brian Sokolove (Midlothian, Texas), Ryan Bradley (Pampa, Texas) and Julio Cesar Veliz (Cypress, Texas).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method and apparatus for inserting a detonator into a door on an end fitting and closing the door into a recess of the end fitting, enabling a quick wireless install of a detonator and resulting in a side-by-side arrangement between the detonator and the detonating cord."
