ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,413,027, issued on Sept. 9, was assigned to Hubbell Inc. (Shelton, Conn.).

"Shallow electrical protection device (GFCI, AFCI, and AFCI/GFCI) system and method" was invented by David Ridgeway (Milford, Conn.) and Kenny Padro (Hamden, Conn.).
