ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,332,406, issued on June 17, was assigned to HOYA Optical Labs Of America Inc. (Lewisville, Texas).

"Hydrophilic-like sputtered AR coating" was invented by Michael Marshall (Andover, Minn.) and Jeffrey Brown (St. Louis Park, Minn.).
