ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,472,679, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to Howmedica Osteonics Corp. (Mahwah, N.J.).

"Porous structures produced by additive layer manufacturing" was invented by Robin Stamp (Montclair, N.J.), Joseph Robinson (Ridgewood, N.J.), Gearoid Walsh (Ennis, Ireland) and Rachel King-Ha Lau (San Jose, Calif.).
