ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,274,455, issued on April 15, was assigned to Howmedica Osteonics Corp. (Mahwah, N.J.).

"Void filling joint prosthesis and associated instruments" was invented by Carlos E. Collazo (Old Greenwich, Conn.) and Damon J. Servidio (Towaco, N.J.).
